Valentine Treasure!!

I made a valentine treasure for my dear darling daughter, Kim~Crafts by Kim and her husband Brent :)--many of you know her and her amazing work!!! Of course the valentine gifts I got them won't fit inside but that's ok. Yes you probably can guess I got her crafting goodies~~they seem to brighten our day more so than chocolate!! LOL AND.... the chocolates are for Brent~~even thought he is a TRUE Sweetheart :D  Here it is~~~~~~~~~~~First side of gift for Kim :)

I saw this on Jay Jay's blog and fell in love with it. Go Here to find template.  Papers I used are SU--Naturals and brown cardstock.  Then I took SU Yummy stamp and using edge of swirl~~inked with Aged Mahogany distress ink and stamped around edges of heart. Then daubbered with SU red rose ink to give softer look :)  Used Spellbinders scallop heart and Inkssentials opaque pen to detail brown heart.

Images are shy little Magnolia Tilda ~~KIM~~waiting for confident Edwin ~~BRENT~~who is surprising her with a rose (as my story goes) :))))  Colored with copics. The following are some close ups :o)

Prairie Fairy and MMSC#40

My card today features "A Little Friend" freebie image at Prairie Fairy where the challenge is to make a valentine themed card (winner to be drawn on Feb 19) and the MMSC40 sketch which is super fabulous!!

I made a non-traditional valentine's card. Used DCWV cardstock and the rustic stack along with K&Co dp.
The wisteria image is a spellbinders borderabilities brushed with tea dye distress ink and stamped with SU teeny tiny wishes~~happy valentine's day :)  If you look closely, you will see I distressed the edges of matted paper and wisteria border slightly with scissors and then brushed along tea dyed distress ink pad~~I am a clean cut kinda girl~~so this distressing or tearing was emotional --lol!! I really like the look so beware you may see more :D  

The Prairie Fairy "A little Friend" freebie image was computer generated and colored with copics, cut out with a spellbinders label seven and softened with antique linen distress ink.  His wings were glitzed with DecoArt glistening snow writer and glitter. 

The flowers and leaves were in my stash. Used copics to darken all the edges of the flowers and added yellow stickles for sparkle:)

Here is my entry for the MOVING challenge :) 

 I used the Crissy Armstrong--Wings of Hope for Haiti image.  Made it so the horse moves up and down and rocks back and forth just like on a Merry-Go-Round :)  Papers are SU chocolate chip cardstock and My Mind's Eye--Graceful.  To make the pole I used SU word window punch--then took 2 pennies and placed on each side of the pole--placed to pieces of foam tape between pennies and adhered image with glue dot.  Finished pole with ribbon, flowers and rhinestones. 

Close up of "Wings of Hope" image. Colored with copics, added SU dazzling diamonds to wings, hoofs, mane and tail. Placed small prima flower and rhinestone to garment.

Finished inside :) Detailed with MS border punches and Spellbinders Large deckled rectangle.
