I created a Birthday Card using FBD~ April Swings

Doesn't this image remind you of SPRING!!!!

 Card base is DCWV blue textured cardstock...next layer is yellow CS which was punched with MS large vine punch...next layer is light blue CS embossed with flowers.  Then added image which was matted with yellow CS.  Fancied with lace, stitched ribbon, and butterflies (MS base and WOC lace).

Accented with TH vintage photo DI on edges throughout and VD sapphire lt. blue GL pen

 Papers~ Brown Textured CS from stash, BG Basics Manila Pad. Sentiment was stamped on dp and inked--then set atop SB octagon nestie with foam tape.   Corners created with SB FleurdeLis Motifs die which I cute in half :)  Bottom border made with EKSuccess border punch.  Finished card with Recollections Glitter balloons, twine, and BG rhinestones!!

Another month gone by but, another month closer to warm weather.....I am getting sick of the cold sub 0 temps!!!

Ok~~~now here is GRANT!!!!

Daddy assembled the mat--isn't it cute!!!

 He really didn't know what to do with the cake ;)  He did gently finger into it, but didn't care to be messy--LOL His mommy was like that!!!

Boy oh boy.....he sure likes his new Thomas the Train push and ride!!!  Always moving....walks with and along things but not quite on his own yet.....I don't think it will be very long tho and then watch out!!!!!!!!!

Today is the start of Elisabeth Bell's World challenges for 2014!!!

To start out the year, we have a color challenge~~ White on White with a touch of Red

For This Birthday Card I used this dapper looking little guy and his kitty......

an EBell image called Tommy's Apples for Mommy exclusive for EHA!!  

White and red CS used :)  Bottom layer texturized with Couture Creations Entangle embossing folder and used TH distresser tool on edges and then inked with TH Fired Brick DI.  Next white layer was cut out with SB Grand Labels 23, texturized with Craft Concepts In Stitches embossing folder and placed with foam tape.  Sentiment was computer generated and cut out with SU punches.  Branch and fence are Marianne Design Dies.  Finished with Red ribbon and fancied fence with VD Ruby GL pen and TH Black Soot DI.
