To and Fro Puzzle

Took time to create a card with this fabulous Sugar Nellie image--called "To and Fro".  I had colored her up several weeks ago and kept admiring the image and today finally I decided to give her a home :)

Made a card for The Sugar Bowl challenge!!  Which is this sketch and the optional theme of using Kraft paper :)

Now I have a story to share here.......As I got the papers together---I started to die cut the image and guess what had happened???  Oh yes the die moved as I ran it thru my machine and I was ready to cry.  As I looked at the 2 pieces in my hand.....my little brain started thinking.....tick tick tick..Hmmmmm......I had used the SB deckled rectangle die soooooo I will Intentionally create a puzzle piecing image.  So Here it is.  Cut down the outside edges of each piece with a Fiskars decorative scissor and then Inked all edges with TH vintage photo .   I then tape pieces together on back and used on card!!!   Would you call it the Puzzle piecing technique LOL!!

The doily behind image is SB Contemporary Hearts and that is layered onto a SB Scallop Circle.  Papers are BG Manilla pad, shabby green door damask, kraft cs and the pink I am not sure.   The 2 rectagular panels were dry embossed with SU folders and then Inked with TH vintage photo ink.

Embellished with ZVA self adhesive pearls--I copic colored the center pearl to match her shirt ;)  and MS butterflies

Inside of card----  Oval is for personal message.

I have had Winifred colored for month's....just trying to find time to create something and enter "The Sugar Bowl" challenge~~~Well today is the day!!!!  YEAH--Clap--Jumping :D

Sitting in her antiquish chair is "Winifred" from the Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable collection--isn't she just darling :)  Colored her with Copics--added gold spica pen to sweater buttons, design on collar and berries on her dress and hairties.  Cut her out with deckled rectangle nestie.  Papers are PTI cream CS, Bazzil grey textured CS and Authentique dp.  Sentiment is a Heidi Grace sticker.  

Flowers made with my new---SB Rose Creations dies. The metal flower centers and glitter brads are from my stash.  Finished arrangement with Magnolia doohickey swirl, Wild Orchid pin and stamens.

Sugar Nellie Sweet Grace

Good Day Friends!!!

I finally found sometime to "love up" this Sugar Nellie--Simply Adorable digi image.  Her name is GRACE and can be found Here!!  Made a card using Marlena's sketch at "The Sugar Bowl Blog"

Colored Grace with Copics.  For the dp--I went digging thru my stash and found these Cloud 9 papers~~Oh so pretty :)  Matted with SU teal cardstock.  On the rust dp-- I stamped a border using Hampton Art butterfly horizon stamp and then accented each swirl with Gelly Roll clear star pen.  

Background inked with TH-DI. Drew in the grass and added flowers with Viva Decor pearl pens.  If you look closely frosted lace stickles fancied her buttons and hairbow :)

Don't you just love love love.... the fancy dancy swirls~~My new Heartfelt Creations Rose Die!!!!!  The butterflies are MS punches ;)

Inside shows the complete Heartfelt Creations die cut~~MMmmmm so pretty!!!

These butterflies are Joy Craft Lovelies!!

Now onto my creation~~~  I used an EB image of old from Sugar Nellie Stamps called Windswept.  If you ~~Click Here~~ it will take you to the Most Amazing Artist of all!!~~ Elisabeth Bells Blog and you can see where and maybe when this little cutie will resurface :)  

Made a card with matching journaling notebook!!

Colored images with copics and for sun and sky backgrounds I used TH-DI.  Used the sketch from The Sugar Bowl Blog!! Accented with lots and lots of sparkle using Viva Decor Pens, Viva crystal gel using Crafter's Workshop swirls template and glitter dots which can all be found at the SCACD Store.  Paper ribbon ruffle border made with a Marianne creatable--these dies cut so nicely everytime :D  Cardstock and dp is all from SU. Doily made with SB Contemporary Hearts Shapeabilities~~inked with TH Mustard seed and tea DI~~then took my Viva pens to add pearl drops :)

Used the masking technique to add the Magnolia fence and sky.  Her apron and shoes were coated with Sparkle Mod Podge--oh so pretty with the sparkly shine and colored flecks~~shucks it doesn't really show in pics :)

Sentiment is MFT Die-namics set.  

Flower arrangement includes Prima painterly petal and camelot rose along with Wild orchid roses and aster daisies.  Leaves made with Nellie Snellen and MS punches.

Hello Crafting Friends

Decided to make a easel card with this gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp~~Grace from the Simply Adorable Collection!!!

Followed Kiki's sketch for The Sugar Bowl Challenge #61 with theme of Love/weddings

Colored Grace with Copics. Added SU dazzling diamond glitter to dress collar and hairbow.  Cut out with SB circle nestie and inked edges first with TH antique linen and enhanced edges with TH walnut stain~~little darker for contrast.  

Paper is My Mind's Eye Stella Rose gertie pack --which I got HERE.  Viva Decor Ruby glitter liner was used to fancy up the eyelet lace border, butterflies and MS Rose leaves.   K&Co rub-on "LOVE" sentiment was placed on a SB Fancy Tag that was given dimension with foam tape to help display easel card.  The clear epoxy quote sticker is from CLOUD9 designs and it is on a SB ribbon tag.  Finished embellishing with Wild orchid flowers and SU embosslits beautiful wings butterflies.

Very interesting to color but really like the outcome :) What do you think???

Sugar Nellie Cutie!!

Hello~~~  today I decided to make an ALL White card!!!
I am really Hooked on Easel Cards~~Just love the way you can display them as a piece of art!!!!!

Used sketch by Jay Jay from SSS 











Meet this cute Sugar Nellie called "Windswept" by EB.

Colored with Copics and Accented with Gelly Roll white and clear star pens.

This view shows the many dimensional layer.

The SU Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped onto a Marianne D flower with Rich Cocoa Ink and then I tucked flower under pendant and popped up top edge with 3 layers of foam tape.

A few close ups showing The sparkle of the Clear star Gelly roll pen AANNNDDDD I tried for the first time some Sparkle Mod Podge that I got as a sample when at CHA!!!  If you look close~~I painted it over the SB Fluer de Lis Pendant~~Oo La La I likey!!!!  SPARKLE--BLING--SHINE~~~MMMMM--MMMM   GOOD!!!!!!!

Used the same CB folder on stand of card as I used on front :)

Left top half of card blank for a personalized message.

The new Magnolia Doohickey Dies ARE  to die for!!!!!

The tag was softened with Inkadinkado ballerina pink chalk ink and  MFT sentiment was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa.  Accented with ribbon, flowers, and Viva decor rose paper pen sprinkled with glamour dust!!

Added some BEAUTIFUL butterflies and Viva Iced White pearls!!!!!

My Sugar Nellie Foxy Gorjuss Girl

Once again I used the Making Memories paper pack. Distressed the dp edges with Brilliance Twilight Ink. The strips of dp were fancied up with MS Deco Fan border punch and MM matching ribbon, lace and slides packs.  Accessorized with pearls in corners and Homemade flower and burtterfly on slides.

Image colored with copics. Lightly distressed image edges with TH black soot ink.  Used crystal stickles on hat rim, collar and lace of jacket, and around edges of mega ovals.  Added pearl buttons and rhinestones for hat tassel and flower center :)
