Christmas Friends!!

HAPPY WINTER EVERYONE~~~Meet DD Christmas Belle and PB Christmas Mouse! We are having a humongo snowstorm here in NE Wisconsin~~12+ inches. Snowday for me means time for work and of course time for play :D
CHALLENGE ENTRIES:
MMSC31: Follow a sketch
Penny Black: Week 78 Christmas for the Girls!
Simon Says: Let It Snow!
Stamp Something: Glitzy Something!
Cuttlebug Spot: Christmas Gift
Lexi's Creations: A Shaped Card
Whimsy Stamps: Use Die Cuts
Creatalicious: Christmas using snowflakes and lots of sparkle/glitter
Just Magnolia:  Make a card for someone special! I used Magnolia Snowy circle on ornament!!

Today I chose to do an Easel Card. Wow it really was fun and easy! This is the front or top of the card which I used the sketch from MMSC31
Close up of images: Christmas Belle from Digital Doodling and Christmas Mouse from PB Holly Jolly Collection. Colored both with copics and used pearly sparkle jelly glitter on Belle's muff and coat as well as mouse's hat. Crystal lace stickles used on Belle's skates and X-mas red and green stickles used on holly in her hair and the present mouse is offering her. Added stardust stickles to outline image :-) Secured with ribbon. Mouse is popped up with foam tape for dimension and if you look close at font view you can actually see his shadow when I took picture.
Below is a full view of my easel card and the ornament I made to go with the card that I will be giving to a friend for christmas! The ornament is a piece of round chipboard covered with Archiver's cardstock in green and Layered with a stamped image of Magnolia's Snowy Circle glistened with stardust and crystal stickles.  You can barely see it but I dobbered Soft blue ink onto the white snowy circle also.  Belle is slightly smaller in size than on the card but colored and jazzed up the same way :)  Belle is popped up with foam tape.  Threaded the ornament with the same ribbon I used on the card and secured with a metal snowflake slide!!

Below is the bottom or inside view of card.  BG Eskimo Kisses dp used again (reverse side).  Sentiment punched with SU sizzlets tag and popped up with foam tape for dimension and secured with ribbon.  Added the holly leaf border on bottom as finished follow through :D
Side view of my very first easel card!!!! Very satisfied with results :-)

GOD BLESS

Meet Bigsby

Pixie Cottage Sketch Challenge #3 and Basic Grey Challenge #8~~ Glitz and Bling!!Hi All~~ Meet Bigsby!!! This little cutsey is a dream of illustrator, Karen Johnson who I met at the Stampin Scrappin Expo in Milwaukee. I was a busy gatherer that day--believe me and I loved every minute of it :D Check Karen's artwork out~~or doodles as she calls it :) Silly Bigsby is eating Santa's cookies and milk~~oh no!! Bigsby is a digi image from Karen's Doodles.
I colored him with my copics first and then added black flock and silver glitter to give him a soft, fuzzy and sparkly look. Used Flower soft for his hat~~polar white and russet red. The russet red wasn't red enough for me so I topped it with xmas red stickles. Also used stickles on the holly berries and leaves. After coloring cookies with copics I added a little diamond stickles on the chocolate chips to give sparkle of crystal sugars :D It is hard to see but I did cover milk in the glass with diamond glaze adhesive for a very shiny look and feel!! Used a dobber with SU old olive ink on the platter. Then cut out image and used foam tape to give it dimension on the BG Wassail collection dp which is bordered with MS holly leaf border punch~~so lovely!! That is layered over DCWV holiday metallic green cardstock which was CB with swiss dot folder. They were all wrapped in gold ribbon with embellies and sentiment and then placed on Burgundy textured cardstock.
Close up of embellishments~~ Used red christmas flower brad and I added the lime green stickles to the petals. Branches were punched from EK Success corner punch and sentiment came from a blogging friend (surprise in mail one day)Love it!!! Used MS tag punch and bordered tag with lime green stickles.
Close up of Bigsby and his cookies :D

Hello~ Spread the Love Blog Hop is a hop to help spred the love for 11 year old Jaimie Cates, who has been the victim of horrible crime. This hop has been organized to send Jaimie support during this hard time. Click Here for details. My card for Jaimie is a "friendship" card featuring tilda and her puppy. Animals can be such wonderful comfort always!!
Magnolia Down Under Challenge #25 is Distressing.

I used mustard cardstock and the dp is BG Porcelain pack. The dp paper is already color distressed and I added more by using the distressing CB folder as well as tearing the top and bottom border. Popped up the tree stump as well as little Miss Tilda. Stamped saying and then made flower.
Close up of tilda with puppy. I read that Jaimie likes pink and black so I colored with that in mind :DThe flower was created using dp, prima flower and a fancy brad as topper. The base layers of the flower are made using Spellbinders Snowflake and Daisy Head collections.

Christmas Love Birds

Hello to Everyone~~~

WOJ #53 ~~~ Use Red, cream and one other color
MMSC ~~~~ follow sketch at left
Simon Says ~~~ All that sparkles!! Used glitzy ribbon, shiny red rhinestones and frosted lace stickles on leaves and birds wings
SSHP #05 ~~~ In so many words!! Used script embossing on dp and Rubbernecker stamp saying-- Wishing you Peace, Joy, Love and Laughter.
Stamp something ~~~ Cute and fuzzy somethings!! Oh those lovely winter snow birds!!
SSCC #11 ~~~ Deuteronomy 31:8 "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (NIV) Make something to encourage or remind a friend that God is with them. I focused on God's creation of animals (Birds) and seasons to remind us of his gifts of peace, joy, love and laughter he brings to each and everyone of us daily!!!

I used the WOJ stamp ( winter love birds) Oh so very cute~~~aren't they!!! Stamped them onto white cardstock and colored with copics. Then used dobbers to add soft blue sky and little red to birds breasts ( slightly noticeable in image below). Restamped image and cut out birds and popped them up. Added liquid applique to give a snowy look on branch and birds. Added frosted lace stickles to pine leaves and top of birds wings for sparkle!! Used K & Company DP (Christmas Cheer) and embossed with script CB folder. Sentiments are from Rubbernecker snowflake & Stardust set. Detailed with embellies of green tulle (first time ever used tulle on a card), glitzy~~sparkly red and silver ribbon with buckle and shiny red rhinestones!!

Close ups of these cutie pies and how sparkly they are!!! You can kinda see the red on birds breasts here :D

Winter Warmth

Good Morning~~With winter on its way~~BRRRR, I decided to make a card with my new WOJ stamp. Henry Mouse is so adorable!!!! I created for these challenge blogs: Simon Says, Stamp Something, SSHP03, and Creatalicious.

Simon Says is this sketch by Domi!!
Stamp Something is all about sparkle, shimmer, glimmer and shine~~BLING!!!!!!
SSHP03 is to make a scene!! I made a winter warmth scene :D
Creatalicious is to use scraps and create your own flowers in which I made snowflakes instead :D
This is Henry Mouse from WOJ making Hot Cocoa in his large teacup so he can share the warmth of winter with his friends :-) I followed the sketch by Domi at Simon Says challenge blog and Added lots of bling such as sparkly ribbon, glitter dots, Foil snowflakes, and used the silver copic spica on bottom edge of teacup and also to dazzled up Henry's ears, cheeks and tummy!! Hard to see this in the photos :o Colored the image with copics. The dp and foil paper was in my scrapbox and I don't even know what co.?? Used MS snowflake punches to create snowflakes out of SU blue paper and teeny tiny flakes for centers are punched on AC Specialty Foil paper. Then placed a blue rhinestone in center. Designed corner of dp with MS snowflake corner punch and used the tiny stars to brighten Henry's thoughts :D The image of Henry and the snowflakes are all popped up with foam tape. Detailed using glitter dots and on the ribbon the snowflakes are silver so I popped up a felt fusion snowflake with rhinestone center!! Love this card and hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
